Following the US Finals, our national Champion will also receive honors from our friends at Beatport with his own DJ chart to help his stock rise. Collaboration: Bringing all that customization to life, the brains over at Odyssey have gone into their workshop and put together an amazing custom form “DJ Essentials” briefcase as a limited run premium piece for Red Bull Thre3Style US Finals week. A DJ on the road can fit his laptop, needles (in their own custom case), Serato records, slipmats, headphones, Dicers, power cables, and of course 2 Red Bull cans. Limited means exclusive: Only 25 units will be produced and 20 are spoken for... If only we knew where the other 5 would end up?

This Los Angeles based clothing company makes fashion with a positive message, putting meanings behind every shirt/work/design. Like the Red Bull Thre3Style series, Acrylick believes that things should be universal, and don’t subscribe to conformity of any sort. It’s the idea that each individual embodies their own originative spirit and should share it with others. Being inspired by and continuously supporting DJ culture, they focus on people using their clothing as a way to find their own original spirit, being able to express visually what they feel within through apparel.

Collaboration: Acrylick’s design family hit the Abode Creative Suite to come up with two custom pieces that evoked the spirit of Red Bull Thre3Style. First, they designed a reward for the participant DJs and contributors to the event, as a badge of honor to have achieved top status amongst their peers. In appropriate fashion, this limited edition run of 25 Red Bull Thre3Style Letterman’s Jackets will release during event week, intended for the backs of our Varsity 11. Plus, for those who might not be able to get a hold of those 25 pieces, Acrylick decided to also contribute a limited edition T-Shirt design inspired by the event series, titled “The Perfect Mix”. Do your best to get your hands on one of these shirts, but if you happen to get one of those jackets, wear that thing like a champ, cause you’re among an elite group to have earned it.

In Las Vegas, about 25 pair of their limited edition Red Bull Thre3Style scratch control vinyl will make the trip from New Zealand and into the hands of some lucky aspiring DJs. Will it be you?

In the world of the Digital DJ, Novation’s Dicers are now commonplace in many DJs toolkits. These devices can trigger samples, cue-points, loops and FX. You can use Dicer to browse through playlists, nudge tracks backwards and forwards or it can be freely assigned to whatever functions you want.

Collaboration: Novation has produced a limited run of 30 hand-made Red Bull Thre3Style Edition Dicers in all white. Our DJs will geek to get their hands on these, but there may be a few extra’s floating around… we’ll have to wait and see.

Responsible for some of the hottest restaurants and nightclubs in Las Vegas, Chicago and Dallas, Michael Morton (Son of Arnie Morton of Morton’s Steakhouse) and Scott DeGraff continue to innovate in entertainment. The two have been friends since age nine, which is the source of the company's name, the 9Group. In 2001, the Maloof Family (owners of the Palms Hotel and Casino) asked Degraff and Morton to recreate their Chicago steakhouse N9Ne and after-hours Ghostbar at the Palms. Since the partnership began, they have added Rain Nightclub, Moon Nightclub, the Playboy Club, Palms Pool and Bungalows and Nove Italiano - all at the Palms.  

Collaboration: 9Group has always given opportunities to help catapult young DJs into international stardom. When Red Bull approached their team about bringing the event to Vegas, they opened their doors to continue supporting the scene and the DJs with a weekend they will never forget. The US Champion, 2nd and 3rd place finishers will all earn Friday night slots to spin at Rain, Moon and Ghost Bar. Also, keep your eyes and ears open for details on a Red Bull Thre3Style US Finals edition of Ghostbar Day Club on Saturday, Nov 12.

Founded by the late Jam Master Jay in 2002 with the goal of lowering the barrier of entry to the art form of the DJ. Scratch’s historic first semester received media attention worldwide with instructors including Jam Master Jay, DJ Premier, A-trak, Evil Dee, and many more. Since then, Scratch has opened additional locations in Los Angeles (2004) and Miami (2005), and expanded its course offering to include music production. Today, Scratch’s teaches over 100,000 people how to DJ annually through its physical locations and national tours. Scratch has taught students from all 50 states, 35 different countries, and is widely recognized as the world leader in DJ and music production education.

Collaboration: DJ Hapa and his staff will pack up the vans and all the gear from Rehab LA and bring the program to the Palms for one week, as Scratch Pop-Up Academy @ Red Bull Thre3Style US Finals Week. At this location inside the Palms Hotel, they will host a series of DJ lessons for many of Las Vegas’ elite industry, aspiring college students, underprovided youth, media relationships, Red Bull family, as well as a couple of sessions for contest winners through social media. Plus, for those intermediate to advanced DJs, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from 5-7pm, they will host Scratch Sessions open to the public where anyone can come in and collaborate or just get on the decks and let loose for a bit. Being in Vegas and knowing the history of the academy, you never know who will stop by…
