The Red Bull 2-on-2 Revolution rolls into Philadelphia's Chew Playground to give away $2,000 in cash for the winning team.
You gonna be in the City of Brotherly Love? Drop that cheese steak and pick up the rock because the Red Bull 2-on-2 Revolution is rolling into Philadelphia’s Chew Playground. This is called a Revolution because the games will be played by Rajon Rondo’s rules.
Based on the championship-winning point guard’s style the Red Bull 2-on-2 Revolution will feature a unique scoring system that rewards players for their hustle and aggressive play. In addition to scoring buckets you and your wingman can score points in any of the following ways:
• 3 points for dunking on an opponent’s head
• 3 points for blocking a dunk or pinning a shot on the backboard
• 3 points for making a defender fall
• 3 points for stripping the ball from the offensive player
The Red Bull Revolution is a 32-team, single-elimination 2-on-2 tournament. The winning team receives $2,000 in cash. Did we mention that the winning team gets $2,000? In cash. That’s even better than Rocky’s Complete Saga DVD collection.
