Double world champion Lindsey Vonn has set her legions of fans a task ahead of her bid for gold at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
The 25-year-old alpine queen is being hotly tipped to strike gold after becoming the first American woman to seal back-to-back overall World Cup wins.
And she is asking fans who are 13-years-old and above to design the ski helmet that she will wear at the Games in February. Artwork must be submitted to NBCOlympics.com by December 21.
Vonn, who will make the final choice after a fans’ vote has cut the shortlist down to three contenders, said: "I'm pretty much open to anything."
Meanwhile, Vonn and her US Alpine Ski team-mates will be stopping off at Copper Mountain, Colorado following last weekend’s World Cup race in Levi, Finland
The downhill specialist finished second in the slalom, 0.8 seconds behind friend and rival Maria Riesch of Germany.
And she will be joined on the slopes by two-time World Cup champ Bode Miller as well as the likes of Julia Manusco, Stacey Cook and Resi Stiegler.
