Red Bull has announced a partnership with The New York Times to distribute the US edition of The Red Bulletin in the run-up to the New York leg of the Red Bull Air Race.
640,000 copies of the magazine will be inserted into the New York Times on June 13, ahead of the fifth race of the current Red Bull Air Race series – which takes place in Liberty State Park, Jersey City on June 19 and 20. An additional 60,000 copies will also be handed out on the race weekend itself.
The Red Bulletin is a 100-page magazine focusing on sport, lifestyle, art and culture which features internationally renowned journalists, photographers and illustrators. The magazine’s motto is 'Beyond The Ordinary' and its mission is to bring to life the creative and adventurous world of Red Bull through spectacular photography and features.
The tie-up with The New York Times takes the overall circulation of the magazine to 4.3 million copies in 10 different markets. The Red Bulletin is already published in Austria, Germany, New Zealand, South Africa, Poland, Ireland and the UK.
The UK edition of The Red Bulletin recently announced a partnership with The Sunday Telegraph, commencing on June 6. Previously distributed with The Independent, the magazine will now go out to the Telegraph’s 1.7 million readers on the first Sunday of every month.
