When it comes to the world of BMX dirt jumping, Anthony Napolitan is a major player. He broke out big-time onto the contest scene in 2006, earning a bronze medal in Dirt at the X Games and taking home the overall title on the five-stop Dew Tour. He added another X Games bronze in Big Air competition in 2007, and made history at the event in 2009 by landing the first-ever double frontflip in competition.

What do you typically put away for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
It kind of depends on what part of the world I’m in. It’s been so long since I’ve had food in my house, because it seriously feels like I haven’t been home in the last year. Let’s see… I like to wake up and eat some cereal with some fruit in it. Organic cereal; I can’t remember the name of it, I just know what the box looks like. Or a veggie burrito or omelet. For lunch, sometimes I get into veggie burgers, or make a real burger on the grill, or whatever Woodward has in the cafeteria. For dinner, I get this apple raisin-stuffed pork tenderloin from the grocery store, it’s so delicious. I’ll slam that down with some mashed potatoes and gravy.
What do you like to do with your free time?
Sometimes I work on my car if it needs it. I’m a neat freak, so I clean the house a lot. Guitar Hero, ping-pong, I go to the movies a lot…
What’s your favorite Movie?
Vanilla Sky.
Favorite TV show?
Nip/Tuck.
Favorite book?
I don’t read.
Favorite car?
I like my Volkswagen GTI.
Favorite band?
It really differs from time to time. I don’t know if I have an all-time favorite band. You can’t ever go wrong with some older AFI, though.
Do you have any siblings?
One brother and one sister. My brother is five years younger than me; my sister is a little more than six years younger.
Do you have a girlfriend?
Yes, I have one of those. Her name is Kelly.
How you would describe the perfect day?
Wake up really early and get a little workout in. Play with the dog a little bit. Get a good lunch and head into Woodward. Do every trick I could possibly do on the dirt jumps with all my friends and really flow around a lot. Drive home and have a nice dinner, watch a movie and go to sleep. I’m pretty simple.
What makes you happy, and what makes you mad?
I’m pretty happy all the time. I’m really happy when my house is clean, and really angry when my brother doesn’t keep it clean. I hate internet shit-talkers too, and people who steal my Facebook profile.
