New Orleans Saints player and Red Bull athlete Reggie Bush hosted a party at Generations Hall in New Orleans on Monday night to commemorate his appearance on the cover of the October issue of the Red Bulletin, a global sports and culture magazine distributed to millions around the world.
The Rebirth Brass Band and turn-tablist J-Rocc of the Beat Junkies kept the party rocking late into the night, with Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets, Lance Moore of the New Orleans Saints, snowboarder extraordinaire Travis Rice, pro BMX riders Corey Bohan and Terry Adams, pro surfer Ian Walsh and country singer Jessie James all attending to congratulate Bush.
“It is an honor to be on the cover of the Red Bulletin,” noted Bush. “This is a great party and an amazing time for New Orleans.”
It is indeed an amazing time for Bush’s New Orleans Saints, who defeated the Miami Dolphins last weekend to earn a 6-0 record so far this season. Reggie’s dramatic touchdown leap during Sunday’s game earned him a spot on another cover, this time the November 1 issue of Sports Illustrated.
The October issue of the Red Bulletin also marked the unveiling of the new Augmented Reality features of the magazine (including the ability to incorporate film, sound and animation into your reading experience), which you can learn more about right here.
