Aaron Gwin finished fifth in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup downhill event in Val d'Isere, France, last weekend. In doing so, the Red Bull ambassador wrapped up his second consecutive championship -- with one round left to race in the season. To celebrate the 24-year-old Californian's achievement, we take a look at five of his best vides so far this year.

1. Let's start with the best first. This is Gwin testing Saint prototypes in Temecula, California. The action begins at :40 with plenty of super slow-motion. The song is "American Trash" by Innerpartysystem.

2. Gwin, again in Temecula. More crazy-awesome slow-mo (and classic Gwin style) starting at 2:12. The song is "Bird in a Cage" by Porches.

3. Here is Gwin's incredible run in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup downhill event in Val di Sole in Italy.

4. No soundtrack needed for this one: a GoPro helmet-cam view of Gwin tearing it up in UCI Mountain Bike World Cup competition. Just another day at the office.

5. Lastly, here's Gwin with Gee Atherton, Brook MacDonald and Nick Beer being captured at 1,000 frames per second in the famous Red Bull slow-motion series, shot with Phantom cameras.
