Bobby Brown continues to throw down in the world of ski slopestyle competition – his latest victory came this weekend in Killington, Vermont at the second stop of the Winter Dew Tour, prepping him for this week’s showdown at Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado.

  • Bobby Brown: 1st in Ski Slopestyle
  • Elias Ambühl: 2nd in Ski Slopestyle
  • Spencer O’Brien: 2nd in Snowboard Slopestyle
  • Simon Dumont: 3rd in Ski SuperPipe
  • Sebastien Toutant: 8th in Snowboard Slopestyle

Unfortunately, Bobby Brown went down on his first run, but Red Bull teammate Elias Ambühl stepped in to lead for most of the contest. Elias dropped a 270 on the down rail, a 360 switch up to 270 out on the gap box, a cork 630 off the cannon, a double cork 1260, and a switch rightside double cork 1080 before finishing with a switch double cork 1080 on the last jump.

Brown then regrouped for run two, hitting a 270 on the down rail, a back swap 270 off the gap box, switch on to 630 off the cannon box, a switch double rodeo 900 japan, and a double cork 1260, topping it off with a switch rightside double rodeo 900. His run pushed Elias to second, still a big accomplishment for his first Dew Tour podium showing.

In SuperPipe, Simon Dumont posted his second-straight Dew Tour podium stand in Killington, coming in third with highlights like a double cork 1260 and a double flip 900. Simon now sits tied with Kevin Rolland for the overall year-end title, to be decided at the final stop in February in Ogden, Utah.

Spencer O’Brien picked up a podium of her own, earning second behind Jamie Anderson in Snowboard Slopestyle. Spencer, the ‘08/’09 overall Dew Tour Women’s Slopestyle champ, spun switch backside 540s and smooth airs with solid grabs to fight tooth-and-nail with Anderson, but in the end she couldn't hold on to the top spot.
