Just before the curtain fell on the festival's Interactive week in Austin, 3,000 music fans packed Republic Live for the Red Bull BPM launch event. Legendary DJ Felix da Housecat and Austin’s own DJ Manny had the dance floor rockin’ as they played their sets on iPads -- exclusively using the Red Bull BPM DJ App.
As the party kicked off, media and guests were given a chance to live out their DJ dreams in the demo room where they could test drive the Red Bull BPM app on either iPad, iPod Touch, or iPhone. Developers were on hand to provide instructions and tips for optimization.
The Red Bull BPM recently re-launched with new features and is available in Apple’s App Store in two main versions (Pro, and HD). You can download the lite version for free. The Red Bull BPM Pro has everything the modern DJ needs.
Red Bull BPM Features Include:
- six different output modes using WLAN,
- Bluetooth and special audio Split Adapter,
- 32-bit sound engine supporting AAC, Apple Lossless, MP3, AIFF, WAV in optimal sound quality.
The Red Bull BPM HD Player offers more of the same but ramped up for the larger iPad. Red Bull BPM apps sync with iTunes on your computer.
The Red Bull BPM applications have been developed over the past 12 months in partnership with Stereomusik Systems in Essen, Germany, and the range of brand-new DJ applications include a handy customizable player, iTunes library import, built-in effects engine, Vinyl Vision, iTunes tag management, built-in virtual audio mixer, zero latency monitoring and two independent stereo outputs on WLAN or Bluetooth.
