It's not hard to see the crossover between motocross riding and mountain biking, and in the latest video by Specialized Cole Seely, the 22-year-old motocross rider from Newbury Park, California, talks about his heavy mountain bike training during the offseason.
He rides around five days a week.
"That's where I get most of my endurance out of. That's where I get my physical strength from," says Seely in the video. "It's an awesome training tool. It's hands down the funnest thing I can do for training."
The training seems to have paid off. Seely finished third in the 250SX West class at the AMA Supercross series opener in Anaheim, California, last weekend.
