The next stop of Red Bull Curates: The Canvas Cooler Project opens Thursday at the Chicago Urban Art Society, and if it's anything like the last stop in Los Angeles, you better get there early.

Red Bull Curates: The Canvas Cooler Project selected 20 local emerging artists to create art out of the classic Red Bull refrigerator. The pieces will be voted on by the attendees and a panel of three judges and the three finalists will get to show their work during the famous Art Basel art fair in Miami Beach in December.

The artists had only Sunday and Monday to create their pieces. They worked side by side in a variety of mediums.

At the last stop in Los Angeles in April (above video), artists Lydia Emily and Hans Haveron won the Audience Choice awards, while Gregory Siff took the judges prize. All three will head to Miami in December. Which Chicago artists will join them? Come back Friday to find out; we'll have a full recap with photos from the event.

Red Bull Curates: The Canvas Cooler Project in Chicago launches Thursday at 9 p.m. at Chicago Urban Art Society, 600 West Cermak Road, Unit 1B.
