The International Center of Art and Landscape on Vassivière Island in the middle of a lake in France will, no doubt, quickly become a holiday attraction for traveling skaters -- thanks to a "skateable sculpture" by Koo Jeong-A, a Korean designer. The hook? The skatepark, called OTRO, glows green at night.
According to L'Escaut, the architecture firm behind the sculpture: "The concept of OTRO -- its ovoid shape, the use of green phosphorescent concrete, its progressive discovery and its integration in the island meadow -- makes this artwork become an infinite land of investigation that reflects all details like the light, its link with the site, the atmospheres, the dream and the fantastical."
It's pretty rad, too.
