Canadian snowboarder Mark McMorris is no stranger to pushing the snowboarding envelope, and he's just blown out the seams by being the first person to ever stomp the backside 1440 triple cork and only the second person to land a triple cork of any variation.

"It was something I've always thought about but I just wanted a good jump to try it," says McMorris. "Here was the perfect place and I was able to do it with some support from my friends so I'm really stoked. Just a big accomplishment for me; I'm really happy."
