Red Bull Rampage withdrawal have you hungry for some serious freeride mountain biking footage? Check out several of the Red Bull Rampage competitors, including winner Kurt Sorge, in a high altitude setting as removed from Virgin, Utah, as you could possibly get -- on Wildkogel mountain in Austria.
In the latest video from Nine Knights, an annual summer event, freeride mountain bike riders Niki Leitner, Amir Kabbani, Cam McCaul, Yannick Granieri, Martin Soderstrom, Geoff Gulevich, Kurt Sorge, Cam Zink, Andreu Lacondeguy and Andi Wittmann give you an up close and personal look at their gnarliest jumps. All of the shots in the video below were taken with Contour cameras.
And if you haven't yet seen the original highlight clip, here you go...
This was the second edition of Nine Knights, which was created by Andi Wittman in 2011 to bring the best riders and the best photographers and filmmakers together.
"Being a pro-mountainbiker for several years now, I’ve seen and participated in nearly every existing type of event," Wittman said. "That’s why I want to create something new: An event arranged and realized by pro-riders and freeride enthusiasts."
