SBTKRT performing in New York City Matt McGinley/Red Bull Media House

This year, Red Bull Music Academy, the traveling series of music workshops and festivals, lands in New York City, and throughout the month of May, there will be extraordinary events all over Gotham.

The events start April 28 and features performances from Flying Lotus (May 5), Four Tet (May 8), Nick Hook (May 21) and Afrika Bambaataa (May 23), among loads of others. There will also be conversations with the great Erykah Badu (April 30) and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem (May 27). DFA Records will celebrate its 12th anniversary with a party and movie premiere in Brooklyn (May 25). Brian Eno will unveil his epic art project, '77 Million Paintings' (May 3).
