Starting in April 2011, the best FMX riders in the world will fight for the coveted title at the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour, taking place over six events on four continents. This year's new locations are set in the UAE and Australia for the season finale, as well as in Spain, Italy, Brazil and Poland.

“If you need to win one series in order to gain immortality, then it is definitely this one,“ stressed Nate Adams after the season finale in 2010. Adams, who won the title without winning a single event but by showing great consistency, looked back on the season which included five events, 770 jumps, 524 flips and well over 55,000 feet of travel through the air.

“The slightest mistake is enough and the chance to win the title is gone,“ explained Andrè Villa, who took an early lead on the 2010 Tour and finished only five points behind the champion.

The series is extended for 2011 and will take place on four continents, wrapping up in Australia for the first time in the Tour's 10-year history.
