Prior to his first official practice round at historic Augusta National, 2010 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Rickie Fowler and Super Bowl Champion Reggie Bush met up to drive a few balls and talk about the similarities of preparing for two of the world’s grandest events – The Masters and the Super Bowl.
Bush also personally drove Fowler, who officially joins the Red Bull family this week, to his first practice round in a Red Bull MXT vehicle and watched him take his first cuts at Augusta National.
As part of the driving range fun on their first day together, Bush got his first-ever golf lesson, courtesy of Fowler. The NFL star is keeping all of his career opportunities open and is trying his hand at golf.
“Seeing Rickie swing a club is a beautiful sight,” said Bush. “I appreciate the time he spent with me as he prepares to play the most important tournament of his life.”
“I’m glad Reggie has time to come out and see a bit of my world,” said Fowler. “This is definitely a milestone week for me – playing The Masters for the first time and joining the Red Bull family.”
Fowler joins a roster of Red Bull champions that includes World Series heroes Tim Lincecum and Jimmy Rollins, Super Bowl champion Reggie Bush and Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn.
