Red Bull Soapbox Race Now Accepting Applications

The preeminent non-motorized race in the country, better known as Red Bull Soapbox Race, is headed to the Hollywood for its one-and-only stop for 2011.

The event will take place in Downtown Los Angeles on May 21, where a course will be laid out on S. Grand Ave and W. 5th St., ready to pump the adrenaline of gearheads and amateur drivers alike. The race is free to the public as well as the participants.

The participants need to apply online and the deadline is March 25. The public just needs to show on May 21 around 1 p.m. with their clapping hands and cheering voices pumped for action.
