"A Love Letter for You," a film featuring artist Stephen Powers, was first screened in February 2011. Now it has finally found distribution on iTunes, Xbox and Amazon.

Directed by Joey Garfield and produced by Ghost Robot, "A Love Letter for You" wraps a fictional storyline around Powers's efforts to paint 50 legal murals around West Philadelphia.

“It’s brought people back to West Philly,” Powers, who wrote the screenplay, said at the 2011 screening. “It’s made it a destination and it’s fun to do that."

In the summer of 2011, Powers painted a series of murals in downtown Brooklyn. "We like to put art back into communities and do things to get people to go back to these communities,” he said.
