Red Bull Through My Eyes

The first Red Bull Through My Eyes installation of 2011 will highlight photography shot by BMX street rider Edwin De La Rosa in New York City using his point and shoot Contax T2 film camera.

Last January, the first Red Bull Through My Eyes installation featured pro-skateboarder Zered Bassett and his photos form a visit to Cuba. The images were met with rave reviews at Mountain Creek’s South Lodge in Vernon, NJ and the opening reception was covered by media outlets nationally.

Edwin De La Rosa, a pioneer who ushered in a new age of technical urban riding laced with multiple grind combos, extended lines of tricks mixing rails and ledges, and the now ubiquitous four-peg, brakeless bike setup. New York City had long been known for its street-riding potential, but Edwin completely blew up the scene with his own signature style and flair.
