Without a doubt, Detroit is the birthplace of some of the most seminal records of all time; records which stand for whole musical eras – from Garage-Rock to Motown to Techno.
On Monday, September 12, 2011, The Red Bull Music Academy World Tour will stop in Detroit to present “Motor City Frequencies” a groundbreaking week-long series of concerts, workshops and discussions that pay tribute to the city’s musical heritage and highlight some of the pioneers and visionaries that call The Motor City home.
