Nashville’s men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams will compete for the chance to come face-to-face with Olympic Men’s Beach Volleyball gold medalists Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser and Brazilian powerhouses Maria and Carolina Salgado.
The top two men and women teams from the Nashville qualifier will proceed to the finals hosted in Deerfield, FL on September 24th. Qualifying tournaments are being held in five cities –Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, Wilmington and Nashville.
- The area’s best male and female teams from each qualifier will play at the sand courts in The Rusty Nail where they will battle it out in a two versus two format with the first two games played to 15 points and the third, if necessary, to 10 points.
- Only two teams of men and two teams of women will claim the qualifier and make the trip to Deerfield, FL to compete in the finals where ten teams from across the southeast will get the chance to go head-to-head against Olympic gold medalists and FIVB champions.
