About this Image: Jody Morris: "Havana does have a sort of skatepark, though not really. There are some metal ramps left over from a BMX demo that came to the island years ago - it was even a full mini ramp at one time. However, the government likes to continually change where they locate this 'skatepark' and the other halfpipe was destroyed in a move. Never having seen one before, the workers assigned to move it just chained it up behind the truck and pulled it down the street. The halfpipe soon became a quarterpipe in the process. The skatepark is currently located in the middle of a less used but still active street. The kids have to stop skating and clear the park every time a car comes along."
