A former combat aviator in Vietnam with more than 55 years experience flying, Bill performs the world's only nighttime jet-fighter pyrotechnic act, a.k.a. the "Red Bull Meteor."  With over 1,000 feet of fire coming off each wing, his jet looks like a shooting star and astonishes spectators 30 miles away.

"Air shows aren't really about flying," he says. "They're about evoking emotion." And those feelings can be up close and personal, too. "I have a risk-oriented personality," he says. "Risk and stress can be positive things. They let you know you're alive."
