John Teller is an American freestyle skier who now specializes in skiercross. A successful alpine racer who went to Nationals on four separate occasions, Teller works as an auto mechanic at Alpine Garage in Mammoth to support his skiing habits. One of a handful of American skiers competing in skiercross, Teller was a late add to the Winter X roster in 2010 and impressed, making the final and finishing sixth. He went on to win the Skier X event at Winter X Games XV, upsetting favorite Chris Del Bosco. On January 7, 2011, Teller became the first American to win a FIS World Cup Ski Cross race, earning victory in St. Johann in Tirol, Austria.
