John Wall is an American basketball player who plays for the Washington Wizards. Wall was chosen first overall in the 2010 NBA Draft after playing for the University of Kentucky, where he set a record for most points and assists in a season by a UK freshman.
In his first two years in the league, he's averaged more than 16 points and 8 assists per game.
His stunning speed and jaw-dropping skills earned him the 2011 Rookie Game MVP during the 2011 All-Star Weekend and he was named to the NBA All-Rookie 1st Team. He finished second in Rookie of the Year voting behind unanimous selection and fellow Red Bull athlete Blake Griffin.
