PK, short for Per Kristian, grew up on a farm next door to the 1994 Olympics ski resort Hafjell, near Lillehammer, so skiing was the natural thing to do from a young age. He entered his first competitions at 14, immediately impressing judges as the wonder kid who could spin like no other. His first international breakthrough came with victory in the Jon Olsson Invitational (JOI) in 2007, which he later followed up with an impressive second place in the U.S. Open.

2008/2009 started well for the spinning kid with victory in London Freeze and a second place in Freestyle.CH, before he beat both Simon Dumont and Jon Olsson in the King of Style contest, finishing off with an impressive 1260 double cork. He ruled Sweet Rumble in Trysil, and after three competitions in the U.S. Dew Tour, he was named as the overall winner. Hunder will no doubt continue to build on his already impressive achievements.
