Swiss freeskier Elias Ambühl is going from strength to strength with an impressive list of titles under his belt. His path to gaining status on the snow started at just three years old, when he took to the slopes for the very first time. A decade later the vibrant competitor switched to freeskiing and began to carve out his own distinctive style to prove he is a worthy contender.
One of five children, Elias lives at home in Switzerland but spends most of the year travelling to global contests and has a packed schedule all the time. After earning a bronze medal in Big Air at Winter X Games in 2010, his 2011 season featured multiple wins, including Big Air victories at Freestyle.CH and the Jon Olsson Invitational and the Slopestyle crown at the European Open.
