Red Bull Cliff Diving: Boston - What to Expect

If there's one sport that really tests the mettle of men, it's arguably the sport of cliff diving, which features a testicle ascending jump off a 27.5-meter platform -- roughly 9 stories high -- in front of thousands of spectators who are just waiting for something disastrous to happen. And let's not forget that these brave cliff divers are doing these jumps in nothing but tight-ass Speedos. Interested? Probably not. Thankfully, you can (at the very least) be one of those spectators to watch the only American stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2012, located at the Boston Harbor in Boston.

The cliff diving photos below will give you a quick inside look into the world of cliff diving:

It's simple, really. Jump 90 feet and stay alive. David Colturi shows us how to do it. [Photo: Treml]
