About Red Bull Racing
We’ve stuck to the framework for a start-from-scratch race team, taking plenty of hard knocks in the beginning before roaring from mid-pack to the winner’s circle and into championship contention.
In 2009, Red Bull Racing Team shed the NASCAR newbie tag. Driver Brian Vickers and the No. 83 team peaked at just the right time with a late-summer surge that included the team’s first Cup victory and berth in the Chase. And that’s less than three years after we first unloaded a car for competition.
This is year No. 5, and our minds are tuned to getting Vickers, Kasey Kahne and the Red Bull Toyotas over the finish line first and into the Chase.
We own and operate Red Bull Racing Team, which shows our commitment to America’s premier form of motorsports and dedication to the Red Bull brand.
The geeks in engineering search for speed before a car’s even born. The greasers in the shop make cars come to life. And the road and pit crews squeeze every tenth of a second out of them at the track. They all work together, and the combined effort we hope produces a shiny Sprint Cup for our trophy case.
In the blue No. 4 is Kasey Kahne, a Cup star since 2004 who owns 11 victories and two appearances in the Chase. He joined Red Bull Racing Team in October 2010. In the silver No. 83 is Brian Vickers, the 2003 Nationwide Series champion, two-time Cup race winner and 2009 Chase participant who recovered from a blood-clot condition to return in 2011.
