The US Open of Surfing took place in Huntington Beach, California once again, and thousands of people came to watch the battle for the $100,000 prize money. In the end defending champ and HB local Brett Simpson edged out Jordy Smith to take the 2010 win, and Red Bull surf queen Carissa Moore won the girls competition.
