Red Bull R.Evolution, which took place at the Mellowpark in Berlin, lifted BMX racing to the next level on a special Supercross track designed outside of the restrictions of UCI rules. A skilled field of BMX riders from both race and freestyle backgrounds attacked the course, some focusing on full-tilt racing while some went for tricks in the middle of the race. Ultimately, it was Dutchman Twan van Gendt who claimed victory ahead of Corben Sharrah (USA) and Mike Day (USA).
