About this Video: Joao Pedro “JP” Dantas’ steady pace and consistency beat out skaters from all over the globe to win the Red Bull Manny Mania World Final in New York City on Saturday. While many of the riders peaked in the early rounds, Dantas stepped up the trick difficultly with each round, including many switch variations, namely a switch heelflip to switch manny to switch kickflip out. "Joao had everything on lock," said pro Joey Brezinski, who created the concept behind the contest series. Dantas goes on to skate against the pros on Sunday.

The Red Bull Manny Mania Pro event starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, at LES Coleman Park. Among the 22 pros scheduled to compete are Brezinski, Torey Pudwill, Brandon Biebel, Ryan Decenzo, Zered Bassett and Ron Deily. Check out the Red Bull Manny Mania site for more info.
