- About this Video
- On the heels of an announcement made yesterday by energy drink leader Red Bull that the company signed New Orleans Saints’ running back Reggie Bush to a multi-year deal, Bush officially earned his “wiiings.” Bush is the first-ever NFL player to be supported by the company in its 20-plus year history. So as a special treat, Bush participated in a one-of-a-kind flight aboard the Red Bull Albatross, a specially modified 1957 Grumman seaplane. The Albatross departed Tampa’s Peter O’Knight airport at 10:30am, and shortly thereafter, Bush got to take control of the stick for the ride of his life. “I can’t believe I’m really doing this right now” exclaimed Bush with a grin. After the pilot took back the controls, the Albatross then flew to Lake Ariana, home of professional wakeboarder JD Webb. Here Bush got to meet some of Red Bull’s other professional athletes, including champion wakeboarders Dallas Friday, Parks Bonifay, Adam Errington, along with Webb, and witness their own talents on the water firsthand.
