Set in the South two years before the Civil War, "Django Unchained" follows a slave whose brutal history with his former owners ultimately puts him into the company of a German-born bounty hunter. The film follows their search for the murderous Brittle brothers as well as Django's quest to rescue the wife he lost to the slave trade.
