- About this Video
- The Red Bull Stratos team searched for an appropriate location to send Felix Baumgartner to the edge of space from via a high-altitude balloon, ultimately choosing Roswell, New Mexico as its launch site. New Mexico offers the wonders of nature with wide-open terrain, but it also possesses a rich history in aerospace and aviation. Of course, it doesn't hurt that it's also almost a mile above sea level.See more at the official Red Bull Stratos site.
