- Working for the Red Bull Stratos mission is a team of carefully selected scientists led by technical director Art Thompson. Amongst them are current record holder Joe Kittinger, Space Shuttle crew surgeon Jonathan Clark, former chairman of the US Naval Academy Aerospace Engineering Department Marle Hewett, Life Support Engineer Mike Todd, Skydiving Consultant Luke Aikins and High Performance Director Andy Walshe.
