- About this Video
- There was a different rally cry coming from the capitol area for local hip-hop star Wale and indie rockers Tokyo Police Club at Red Bull Soundclash D.C. Nearly 2,000 people filled the outdoor venue on famed Pennsylvania Avenue with the U.S. Capitol Building in the background. Much like a political debate, both bands handed each other the stage in the innovative, back-and-forth musical conversation. The two bands from very different musical genres were not performing for a panel of judges or experts but for the audience, who had the final vote. In a surprising twist of fate, Tokyo Police Club came out on top.
