Day two of competition at Winter X Games 16 did not disappoint, with Mark McMorris delivering the high point in the form of the first triple cork pulled in competition. McMorris, after qualifying first in Slopestyle Elimination earlier in the day, pocketed the gold medal in Snowboard Big Air with his friend and fellow Canadian Sebastien Toutant earning bronze.
