RED BULL BUTTER CUP SERIES HEADS WEST FOR FIRST STOP UNDER THE FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS March 23, 2010 11:59 PM 0  Comment

Kicking off a round of West Coast stops, the Red Bull Butter Cup series made its way to NorCal this past weekend where Boreal Mountain hosted the event, right in front of the base lodge. The West Coast stops play by a few different rules however, as each rider accumulates points at each stop, then at the culmination of the three-part series, the rider with the most points is crowned the West Coast Red Bull Butter Cup champion.

Devil’s Head Resort finished their last open day of the season in a big way this past weekend. After a huge weekend at Holiday Valley, NY and wrapping up all East Coast stops, the Red Bull Butter Cup series takes aim at the Midwest. Devil’s Head, WI will be host to the series on Saturday, March 13th. A short drive from Madison and the University of Wisconsin as well as being the last weekend of the season should guarantee an incredible weekend of riding and parties.

HUGE TURNOUT FOR FINAL EAST COAST STOP OF RED BULL BUTTER CUP SERIES March 11, 2010 8:00 PM 0  Comment

Finishing on what proved to be a competitive region, the Red Bull Butter Cup series made it’s last East Coast stop this weekend. Holiday Valley Ski Resort hosted the series and its custom-made butter pads on a beautiful 40-degree bluebird day. The rider roster was nearly maxed out at 96 athletes and more than 1,000 spectators came out to catch a glimpse of the action.
