2008: Lindsey Vonn has become the first American female in 25 yearsto take home the Overall Alpine Skiing World Cup title (the only other being Tamara McKinney in 1983). She also took the Dowhilll title, setting a record for US victories in that discipline (11 total, passing Picabo Street).
