Others:
We are being joined by various characters from the Quebec kayak community. Local knowledge and help with our French speaking skills are an important key to our success at finding and running some of Quebec’s best white water. Amongst others, some of our key connections are:
Dominic Chaput & Dominic Fourniet.
- The infamous ‘Dom & Dom’. These two guys have run more rivers in Quebec than anyone. Hilarious and tough, these guys are the ultimate guides.
Vincent DuPont
- One of the best C1 paddlers in the world (he kneels in his kayak and only uses a single paddle blade).
- In between working at a kayak store he does nothing but search for new drops to run. His enthusiasm has been a huge help in the planning of this trip.
Pat Levesque
- After stepping down as chairman of the Quebec Kayak Federation, Pat is currently starting a kayak school in Chicutimi – the epicenter of Quebec’s white water.
- He’s a map technician and has combed the province for water and gradient.
