Who?
Eight skaters and 4 filimers
Four teams of two professional skateboarders and a filmer.
Each team represents their rider’s home state:
North Carolina: Kenny Huges and Dan Murphy
United Kingdom: Benny Fairfax and Ollie Todd
Florida: Danny Renaud and Joel Mienholtz
Los Angeles Winning Team 2005: Chris Roberts and Joe Briezinski
What?
Upon arriving at each city, every team was required to locate, ride, and film three predetermined spots within 48 hours. After all three cities had been ridden; each team went back to the Standard Hotel in Miami to produce a highlight video within 24 hours to be judged by the riders and filmers. The $15,500 purse was awarded as follows:
Best overall team video = $10,000
9 best trick awards (1 per each riding location) = $4500
A second unit video production crew documented the Seek and Destroy 3 journey through a third person perspective.
