Anyone who has ever raced knows that the event doesn't begin or end when you cross the finish-line. So much of what makes racing the unparalleled genre that it is is what goes on behind the scenes, during the week and after the race. Cole Whitt brings us a series of fireside blogs that go beyond the press release.

July 23, 2008- Cole Whitt rocked Indiana Sprint week. Get the lowdown here!

June 7, 2008 - After two days of patiently waiting out rain delays on the Pennsylvania Tour for the USAC National Sprint Car Series, Cole Whitt and Keith Kunz Motorsports were rewarded. Cole Whitt and his no. 67K Bullet Chassis earned a flag-to-flag victory at Big Diamond Raceway in Minersville, PA. The victory was historic as Whitt, at 16 years 11 months and 13 days, is the youngest winner in the history of the USAC Dirt Sprint National Series.

February 16, 2008-The 2008 Copper World Classic was the successful beginning of a season long point journey for Cole Whitt this season. After a rain postponement (yes you read that correctly) from Friday, Cole rallied on Saturday to qualify for the main event in both the Midget and Sprint Main Event. In the Sprint Car Main Event Cole moved from a 10th place starting position to move up to finish in second place in his #71 Keith Kunz Racing Red Bull Bullet out of a 60 car starting field. The result was made especially sweet for Cole as he made a clean pass on Midget racing legend Tracy Hines for second place. In the Sprint Car Main Event, Cole moved from 14th to finish 5th in the Main Event out of 48 cars. Cole was very happy with the results and looks to take the positive weekend into his upcoming race schedule.

February 10, 2008-Cole Whitt decided to take the opportunity to tune up for next weekend’s opening USAC National race event in Arizona by racing in California this weekend. Cole raced in the opening weekend of the CRA (California Race Association) for Glen Crossno Racing iTi Performance in the number 2 Bullet chassis sprint car. On Friday, Cole started 18th in the Main and finished 10th. Saturday saw Cole start the Main in 14th and finish 7th. Cole would like to thank Glen Crossno Racing for putting a sprint car ride together last minute to enable Cole to compete this weekend. Look for Cole to take control of his number 71 Keith Kunz Bullet Chassis midget and sprint car this weekend at Manzanita Speedway in Arizona in the USAC opening weekend at the Copper World Classic.

On The Berm #1-After shutting down Tony Stewart in qualifying for the Chili Bowl, Cole Whitt posts up a 13th in the finals. Not bad when you consider that he is racing the best of the best from every discipline in racing!
