Successful title-defending for German Chris „CP“ Pfeiffer at the Indoor Streetbike Freestyle World Championships in Zürich last weekend. Participants from 12 nations have been skeptical about CP’s dominance. Pfeiffer – who else?


The promoters of the Indoor Streetbike Freestyle World Championships, held as a part of the Swiss Moto exhibition in Zurich, have not been taking any prisoners: Over 70 tons of asphalt, equaling a value of roughly $60.000, was produced to cover the action area of 15 by 50 meters for this one off event. and will subsequently have to be scraped off and recycled. A record crowd of 63.000 visitors was in attendance for the weekend long show. Along with the newly paved surface, a new racing format features the best riders last, packing the grand-stands until the very final run. Title-defender Chris Pfeiffer exposed his intention to have a long term claim on the title: With rock-solid performances in all four runs, Pfeiffer has been ruling the competition from first run on, increasing his lead consistently.
