This is the question everyone is asking themselves. Who really is the best overall motorcycle rider?
Every racer knows how to throw a handful of tricks. A huge whip or nac nac is a customary celebration on the final lap of a supercross race. Likewise, most freestylers got their start in motocross. Some, like Brian Deegan and Tommy Clowers, have even won supercross races. The unknown factor has always been, how these two worlds would match up, if the best riders from each went head-to-head in competition.
The extreme sports pioneers over at EXPN seem to have figured out a formula for answering that very predicament. By throwing all aspects of mainstream racing and freestyle into a one-weekend mega series, the best overall rider can be determined. This pits motocross legends, such as Jeff Ward, against newcomers, like Gavin Gracyk.
The Navy Moto X World Championships will be hosted in San Diego, the uncontested epicenter of the motorcycle world. It will feature events such as: racing, supermoto, freestyle, best trick, step-up, and the newly created speed and style.
