Red Bull Air Force members Shane McConkey, Miles Daisher, Charles Bryan and Othar Lawrence amazed onlookers at WET Republic as they performed four consecutive BASE jumps from The
Signature at MGM Grand to introduce Red Bull Cola in the United States.
Not only did they leap from the top of the 400-foot tall building, but they
pushed the limits with gainers and double back flips before pulling their
parachutes, adding even more excitement to the already-thrilling event.
The Red Bull Air Force is a 12-man team assembled from the most
accomplished and experienced skydivers, BASE jumpers and paragliders on the
planet. The team combines for over 130,000 skydives and 5,000 BASE jumps.
Throughout the year they perform over 60 demos including air shows, NFL
football games, NASCAR races, motocross races as well as skydiving and BASE
jumping competitions. These all-out wild men have kayaked out of
airplanes, ski BASE jumped off a 30-story casino and developed a form of
“free flying” that allows the skydiver to fly at speeds close to 340 miles
an hour.
Red Bull Air Force members are among the dozens of Red Bull athletes in
Las Vegas to celebrate the launch of Red Bull Cola. Red Bull Cola is the
first new product from Red Bull in 20 years and Las Vegas is the first city
in the United States where the product will be on sale starting June 1.
Made from ingredients from 100% natural sources, Red Bull Cola provides a
strong and natural alternative to traditional colas. Red Bull Cola
contains no phosphoric acid, no preservatives and no artificial flavors.
It’s the only cola which contains both the original Kola nut and Coca leaf
and is slightly more caffeinated than a traditional cola.
