Many of the riders moonlighted in other forms of motocross, but in Moto X Freestyle, all the big names came out with something to prove.

A stacked field normally consists of three or four riders that can win. In Moto X Freestyle, a stacked field meant that almost every rider had the potential to win. Some of the more complex tricks were commonplace among the ten riders competing.

To be eligible for the four rider finals, everyone had to ride a two-run qualifier. Nate Adams and Jeremy Stenberg set an unobtainium pace in their first runs leaving the other eight riders to battle it out for the remaining two spots.

One of the more underscored runs came from Robbie Maddison. A unique combination of big tricks and combinations, the Aussi was left shaking his head as he failed to break into the top four.

Mat Rebeaud on the otherhand, was able to edge out Adam Jones and capture the last spot into the finals.

As controversial as the judging was, their scoring was validated as the final finishing order was the exact same as the order coming in. Nate Adams, Jeremy Stenberg and Jeremy Lusk taking the top three with Mat Rebeaud rounding out the final four.
